The new brand of the Dazhuo BBQ Group, Guo Xian Sheng, specializes in individual double hot pots (Yin Yang pots), allowing one person to easily enjoy the fun of two types of soup bases. They use fresh local ingredients from Pingtung, and there's a self-service buffet for vegetarian dishes and drinks, making the overall value quite high.
The soup bases we ordered this time were the Shuxi pot and the milk pot. The Shuxi pot has a lighter broth that tastes very smooth, making it safe for vegetarian friends to enjoy. The milk pot, on the other hand, represents the rich and bold flavors, with a strong milk aroma, which is perfect for those who like robust tastes.
The meat is freshly sliced, available in 5oz and 10oz options, and the quality is quite good. Along with a variety of vegetables and condiments, the self-service area has everything you’d expect. Although there is a 90-minute dining time limit, overall it feels just right; you can eat your fill without feeling rushed.
