🍱 A store selling local products in the highland area, famous for its delicious set meals that locals also love during lunch!
Driving along the "Kitasenju Hakuyō Park Line," both sides are lined with comfortable and upscale wooden villa-like houses, and the restaurants all seem super appetizing!
This place was recommended by locals; although it's primarily a souvenir shop, the set meals during lunch are often fully booked! They use local highland vegetables and Koshihikari rice, changing the menu weekly, offering two types of set meals with either a "fish main" or "meat main."
Since I arrived a bit late, the fish main had already sold out, and everyone was enjoying today's hamburger steak set, which comes with white rice, three side dishes, miso soup, and self-service hot tea.
The texture of the hamburger steak leans towards lean meat, yet it's cooked to be very juicy, with a rich and multi-layered mushroom-flavored sauce that never gets boring, even by the end! The local rice is cooked to perfection, with each grain distinct and just the right amount of stickiness—so delicious that it can be enjoyed on its own!
Before leaving, I took away some coffee and the day's special dorayaki, a sweet treat with a strong buttery aroma, paired perfectly with medium-roasted coffee, making it an excellent dessert! The staff was incredibly friendly, even calculating a discount on my meal and drink combo for me!
Moreover, the local products in the store are also great to buy; whether it's snacks or cooking ingredients and seasonings, everything looks natural and tasty, and many customers left with quite a few items! 💸
