Location: London, UK
One of the most anticipated and luxurious restaurants of the whole trip
One of Chef Gordon's restaurants
He actually has a more expensive one in a more rural area
But because it takes a while to get there
I decided to try this one instead

🌟 Beef Wellington
Chef Gordon's most famous dish is this one!
It's absolutely a must-order
£120 is for two people and comes with mashed potatoes
Initially worried whether the portion would be too small
But when it was served, the portion was incredibly huge
Although it looks like just four slices
Each piece of meat is extremely tender
The puff pastry of the Beef Wellington is also the crispiest I've had compared to several famous ones in Taiwan
It certainly stands out and has its unique features

🌟 BBQ Pork Ribs
Family ordered the pork ribs
I've always disliked eating ribs since they have bones
But when I got one
I realized you don't need to gnaw at all
They grilled the pork ribs so that the meat separates from the bone with just a fork
It's absolutely hassle-free
Perfect for someone lazy like me

🌟 Aged Filet Steak
This is a relatively more refined dish in terms of portion
The meat's fat and lean ratio is just perfect
Super delicious
Every bite is full of juicy goodness that fills your mouth
Truly a high-end restaurant steak standard
It won't disappoint you~

🌟 Mushroom Soup
Personally, I'm not too fond of this soup
Because it had a lot of nuts in it
Perhaps to add texture
Since most of the ingredients are completely blended into the soup
But because I don't like the texture of nuts in soup
I'm not a big fan
Yet overall the soup is very rich and fragrant
It is above standard

🌟 Dessert Ice Cream After Meal
After finishing the meal, we were given a dessert menu
We chose ice cream and were asked to order it on the second floor
We were puzzled because the restaurant isn't cheap
And there's a 12% service charge
I thought, "Do we really have to go upstairs to order?!”
Turns out, it's because
There are a ton of different toppings you can choose from
Oreo, marshmallow, Lotus biscuits, jellybeans, gummy bears, M&M chocolates
There are also sauces like nut butter, chocolate sauce, cream sauce, etc.
You can tailor according to personal preference
Add them to the ice cream
But adding them makes it very sweet indeed
However, the staff in charge was extremely patient
Introducing each topping to us and even letting us taste them
Highly recommended!

Overall, it's a place to consider if you want to celebrate a birthday or have a big meal
The dishes won't disappoint you
And excellent service is provided to every guest
I feel it's truly worth it
Recommended for anyone planning to visit the UK 😍😍😍
