The store is located on Hanmin Road, a food gathering place. The last time I ate there was about two years ago, and back then a roast duck bento was 50 yuan, now it has risen to 60 yuan. If it were just due to inflation, it would be acceptable, but the portion has always been insufficient to fill me up, so I only go when I’m craving roast duck like crazy.
In the bento, besides the duck meat, there are stir-fried bamboo shoots and white rice. If you like pickled vegetables, you can let the boss know when you order; I used to add a fried egg (15 yuan) as well. Recently, I feel that it’s not as good as before, both in terms of the juiciness of the duck meat and the service attitude (it seems many people have mentioned the service on Google, but I personally don’t mind, it’s just that the boss doesn’t say much; I just think it's good enough if the food gets to me🤣. Everyone can evaluate for themselves~). It seems the number of customers has also decreased; I remember there used to be a line!
The duck meat in the picture is relatively meaty. Previously, I got portions with more bones, which were drier but still had the flavor of duck. Although eating this bento feels a bit empty, the pickled vegetables and the ginger-scallion sauce on top can still help finish the rice 🍚.
