The first Blue Bottle Coffee in Kyushu, intertwining tradition and modernity within a shrine! 🩵

Opening in February 2024, the Fukuoka Tenjin store is located within the grounds of "Kego Shrine." In the past, there have been multiple pop-up coffee trucks in this location, but only this year has a permanent store been established.

If you are only ordering takeaway or purchasing merchandise, you can walk in directly to place your order and pay. However, if you want to use the dining area, you will need to queue and wait for a staff member to seat you.

I ordered a cold brew coffee for takeaway, which delivers the stable Blue Bottle flavor. Today’s offering has a balanced and refreshing taste with a medium roast.

There are also some chairs near the shrine, so if you get takeaway, you can sit outside and enjoy your coffee while feeling the natural breeze. You can dispose of any trash in the recycling bin next to the store entrance.

Additionally, this shop offers a limited brunch plate in collaboration with a local bakery, which I’d love to try as well!
