Located next to Exit Z10 of Taipei Main Station, it has been open for less than half a year. It sells a variety of items and is very special. There are hot and sour noodles, passion fruit and sour sesame noodles, green pepper milk pot, ice noodles, etc. I was attracted to come in and try them.
There are quite a lot of seats in the store, and there is also a seating area on the second floor (but it will not be open when there are not many customers). The decoration is very trendy, and because of the high ceiling, dining inside does not feel oppressive.
Pork pork belly, green pepper and milk pot $180
I had high expectations for the soup, thinking it would be a pinkish and rich soup, but the color and taste were different from what I expected. Although it was delicious, the green peppercorn and milk flavors were a bit off-putting. Itchy spot
The advantage is that there are a lot of ingredients, including pork belly slices, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, carrots, enoki mushrooms, hot pot ingredients, etc. The portion is so big that I was very full after eating half of it. I highly recommend ordering this bowl when you want to eat vegetables.
That’s not all. For noodles, I chose Prince Noodles. The portions are also quite large. I suspect there are two packs of noodles. The Prince Noodles are a bonus because they have the flavor of green peppercorns, minced garlic and crispy shallots. They are even more flavorful than the soup itself. It’s numb enough, and it’s great when eaten separately.
Pork belly hot and sour noodles $140
The pork belly itself is delicious, and there are a lot of bean sprouts in it, but I personally have the same question about the soup. It’s not that it’s not delicious, but it just doesn’t match the taste of hot and sour noodles in my impression, and it’s not the same as the orthodox sour noodles I’ve had in the past. Chili powder really doesn’t taste the same
Overall, to be honest, it’s not that it’s not delicious, but it’s just different from what I expected. If you don’t have wrong expectations, it’s good. I once again appreciate the portion size of this restaurant. If you want to eat green vegetables, I will order some green peppercorns. milk pot
