Today, I took a stroll through the Brick Lane Market, which is only open on weekends. Next to it, there's a famous 24-hour bagel shop run by Jews. If you look up Brick Lane Market, this bagel shop is sure to pop up. I’ve always been curious about the concept of a bagel shop being open 24 hours. However, in Europe, that should be quite impressive, as most shops close fairly early, except for bars which tend to stay open later. So, it must be quite helpful for the nearby residents.

🌟 Since we arrived here after breakfast, we only ordered what seems to be the classic salt beef bagel. By 11 AM, there was a long queue, but it moved really fast, so we didn't wait long. When we got it, it was still warm. I quickly took a photo before diving in. Upon opening it, I realized it was more like a bagel with beef rather than the other way around—the beef was the star of the show. There was just so much beef! The first bite was almost entirely beef, with very little bagel in it. The beef was cooked to perfection—very tender and easy to pull apart. There was no struggle at all when biting into it. The saltiness was abundant; on its own, the beef is a bit salty, but paired with the bagel, it was just right. The bagel has a great chewy texture. If you simply tear off a piece to eat, the doughy flavor and sweetness burst into your mouth. This is definitely a bagel you can enjoy on its own. It's really delicious.

Overall, I completely understand why so many people online recommend it. The price is very reasonable too. If you're visiting Brick Lane, you should consider queuing up to try this tasty bagel!

Kadorar Bakery 🥯 嘉多娜 天然酵母麵包店

Hovering beyond restaurants deserving of Foodies’ recognition, let’s taste some of Kadorar (嘉多娜)’s nationally renowned signature breads that are worth the dough. A bite into these warm, chewy, crusty, substantial and fragrant edamame blueberries cheese tea breads instantly opens the floodgates to our childhood memories of sweet dreams. We definitely could make a meal out of these satisfactorily moist petite delicacies. It’s one of our best “Shut-up-and-take-my-money!” dining eXperience if you support bakery people who make astonishingly amazing breads, show love for democratic freedom towards liberal living as well as peaceful lifestyles. #香港人加油

Willa Jean
BakeryNew Orleans
Can't disagree with their self description: Adding a modern touch to traditional southern cuisine, Willa Jean elevates classic dishes with creative flair and innovative twists while staying true to the roots of the region's culinary heritage. Willa Jean is a cherished bakery in new orleans's heart, known for its comforting southern fare. The place is modern and bright with its glass walls covering half of the room. The biscuits are fantastic and a must have when being in NOLA. We had the fried chicken and tabasco honey biscuit and the bacon and egg and pimento cheese biscuit. Too bad we couldn't try more from the menu. The service was very good, friendly and attentive.

Aunty Ann @ NU Empire
BakerySubang Jaya
A typical Aunty Anne chain that is famous for its pretzels. Plenty of different kinds to choose from. They also sell other pastry sticks, sausage and cheese nuggets if pretzels arent your thing. There is also lemonade for drinks and dips awailable for extra charge. There are seasonal promotional items to try. Food is packed with easy to eat packaging; making it a good snack to eat while walking around. Pretzel tasted nice with soft texture and well seasoned. Lemonade (not in pic) is also quite decent, with a nice sour refreshing taste. Service was quick as expected and staff were friendly.
