【kombu and bonito broth】
Includes a small piece of kombu
You can add more broth yourself
Overall performance is average
【pepper pig stomach soup】 +59 yuan
Another cup of soup is provided for you to add
The first sip is very "peppery"
(For someone like me who doesn't enjoy spicy food, it is overwhelmingly peppery and spicy,
but my friends enjoyed it quite a lot)
After adding vegetables and something else, it becomes less spicy
🥹 Just my personal nitpicking: I only got two pieces of pig stomach
【Large Portion Three Cuts of Beef】 388 yuan
Marbled, tender shoulder, bacon
The marbled beef is quite good, the tender shoulder and bacon are average
👍 The portion is very filling
【Clam Hot Pot】 288 yuan
👍 Very fresh, and the sand is cleaned out very well
🥹 Just my personal nitpicking: the portion is a bit small
【Self-Service Bar】
Not many varieties of vegetables and hot pot ingredients
There are also curry, Italian beef stew, and braised pork for mixing with rice
Beverages, ice cream, and desserts (hot green bean soup)
Overall, it's the standard selection you would find in a typical self-service bar
👍 The Italian beef stew mixed with rice is really very tomato-flavored! The acidity comes through, which works for someone like me who loves tangy flavors

Random thoughts 👄
I happened to pass by Zhonghe and saw online recommendations to give it a try,
But while on the way, I took a brief look at everyone’s reviews
And found that some ratings were not high...
After eating, I felt that while it wasn't bad,
The ingredients and overall aspects are just average
The overall price is not as high as extravagant hot pot restaurants
But it’s also not as cheap as stinky hot pot
(I also saw some normal portion meals costing over 200, and weekday business lunches priced over 100)
It falls in the middle in terms of price,
And the quality is also in the middle
There’s nothing especially impressive.
Maybe if you live nearby,
And want a bit more food without spending too much,
You might come here;
But for outsiders passing through Zhonghe, there are probably many similar or higher quality places around, so they wouldn’t go out of their way to eat here.
There’s no comment yet.
