Yipin Xuan is located on Minben Street in Xinzhuang District, a bit of a distance from Danfeng MRT Station. The yellow-green sign is quite noticeable, and the location isn’t hard to find.
Today, I enjoyed an Oolong green tea priced at 30 NT dollars.
Oolong green tea:
The blend of Oolong and green tea is quite well-balanced. The lightly sweetened option has a moderate sweetness; it’s a decent drink that doesn’t provide any stunning sensations but also avoids being a letdown. It’s a safe option for daily hydration.
A large cup of one liter costs 30 NT dollars, which is hard to find at such a price in the Taipei area.
The small shop may not have a lot of space, but the drink menu is quite diverse. The staff is friendly, and drinks are made fresh upon order, with a fairly quick turnaround.
Overall, it’s a budget-friendly and consistently flavored street-side beverage shop. It’s perfect for picking up a drink on the go and great for times when you need to hydrate a lot or just quench your thirst.
Next door is a delicious snail kitchen serving Italian pasta, which you might want to try as well.
Recommended to everyone.
