Student Review – What to Eat
Today I visited Sushi Dad near Liuzhangli.

Meal:
Sashimi Donburi $240

Thoughts:
The restaurant closes at 19:00, and by 18:20, there was still a long line outside. Even just before closing at 18:50, there were people still wanting to order takeout. The staff said they were already out of rice. This crowd is really something special.

Their rice is made with purple rice, which is considered relatively healthy, but because it's purple rice, the texture is somewhat wet and sticky. I ordered the Sashimi Donburi for $240 and really liked the wasabi, which is freshly grated. Overall, it's at an average level; it has all the necessary sashimi, and the freshness is good—not too thick and not too thin. The only things that stood out to me were the purple rice, the wasabi, and the crowd.
