While passing by Guangdong Road, I just happened to see a new restaurant, so I decided to give it a try! There are seats on both the first and second floors, and the environment is clean and simple. What surprised me the most was their self-service bar, which really makes me want to come back!
There are two types of soups: one is a thick soup that is twice as rich as those in other steak restaurants, which I absolutely love! The other pot contains a clear broth with radish and slices of meat—it's not just a plain broth.
They also offer braised pork rice (although when I went, the meat was almost gone 🤣), but that bamboo shoot soup was really delicious; I ended up having two bowls! Plus, there are toasted bread, popcorn, ice cream, and a whole row of drink machines with many options.
I ordered the original chunk of beef steak (250 grams), which was a very large piece. The owner said they buy whole cuts of beef and hand-slice them, and the meat was very tender and flavorful—it's clear that they use genuine ingredients. My friend ordered the shoulder steak, which had a bit of marbling and connective tissue; it was very chewy and satisfying!
Prices range from $200 to $450. Considering the amount of meat and the self-service bar, the value for money is really high! People who love steaks in Pingtung should definitely check this out! 🔥
