You can also eat Tibetan cuisine in Taiwan!
However, the quantity is really scarce, so there are not many choices.

This time I came to experience Tibetan cuisine which seemed to have good reviews.
Recommendations after your meal:
✔️Small family meal
✔️Dinner with a small number of friends

This restaurant specializes in Tibetan-Indian curry and traditional Tibetan cuisine.
Therefore not all Tibetan cuisine is available.

This time we chose 1 type of curry + 1 type of traditional cuisine to try when ordering, but the chef misunderstood the ordering staff's notes, so 2 types of curry were served in the end.
(We ordered traditional oven-roasted chicken, but the chef misunderstood it as grilled chicken curry)

However, we felt it was worth visiting again, so we made the mistake this time~

Because this time we were dining with two people, we wanted to share the meal and taste it all, so when ordering later, we chose:
1️⃣1 kind of curry + set meal (including scones, rice, and 1 drink)
2️⃣1 traditional dish (later served as another curry)
3️⃣Order 1 drink a la carte
4️⃣Order a piece of tsampa

In this way, you can eat curry, scones and rice, as well as traditional dishes, snacks and drinks👌
(Although the plan can’t keep up with the changes😂)

The restaurant looks like there are two couples (both have a Tibetan + Taiwanese feel), so it is more of a family-friendly Tibetan restaurant. The staff is also very friendly, the dining environment is small and warm, and the overall experience is good. I recommend it to everyone 👍

Classic Tibetan Curry (mutton) $339 Paired with Set A+$89 Set A includes: original scones, Thai Thai fragrant rice, and choose 1 of 3 drinks The photo shows the portion of Taixiang rice. The curry is in the upper right corner. It’s not a small bowl and there’s a lot of meat! Compared with other curries, the Tibetan and Indian curry is a salty (not spicy) curry. After all, the various spices in the curry are so mysterious that it is a bit hard for me to describe. Overall, it is thick and delicious!
The mutton is chewy and does not have a mutton smell, but the more you chew it, the more delicious it becomes. It's cooked just right, not too hard to bite, and has a nice flavor. Although the menu says it’s bone-in, not every piece has bones. Even if it’s bone-in, it’s still easy to chew. There’s plenty of meat, so you won’t feel like you’re eating all the bones👍 The picture shows me taking one bite and tearing it off along the texture.
Not Simple Grilled Chicken Curry $300 The curry I ordered by mistake was also thick and sweet in taste compared to Tibetan and Indian curry. I was originally worried that if I only ordered one portion of scones, I would not be able to finish the curry, but I think this curry can be eaten directly👍 There's a lot of chicken and it's big, but I think the Tibetan Indian curry is more value for money🤣 (private part)
Original scones, the scones are very large, about 1.5 plates in size It’s delicious on its own (the pancake smells good), even better with curry 👍 Curry is a must!
Tsampa 5 pieces per serving $100/portion After all, it is a famous traditional meal, so you still have to have one. But I may not be used to it😅 The texture is very much like rice balls, soft when bitten, not much seasoning. Therefore, it is not too flavourful, and you will feel like you have watered it down after eating it. There is a saying that it goes well with butter tea. I have tried it, but the experience and feelings may depend on the individual. I am not used to it😅
Butter tea $70 The menu clearly states that this is hot! Salty! Personally, I think if you like salty soy milk, you might get used to it and like it. When it was first served, you could immediately smell the tangy aroma! But it does taste a little unexpected. The aroma is a milky one, kind of like grilled cheese, but you may think it's sweet (my feeling) However, the actual drink tastes hot and salty, and you can see a layer of oil slick on top! According to the clerk (who seems to be Taiwanese), the butter tea they served has been diluted. She has tasted authentic Tibetan butter tea, which has a heavy salty and heavy oil taste, so... don’t blame it for being unauthentic, maybe you are afraid of it My tongue really can’t stand it!
Signature Spiced Milk Tea $70 This cup is more acceptable to me than butter tea. It is sweet and full of spices, very similar to Indian spiced milk tea. It is recommended for those who dare not drink butter tea but want to taste exotic drinks. You can choose this cup to try.
There are many Tibetan-style decorations in the store (one of the corners)
