A beautiful family owned restaurant with a long tradition back to the 1960s.
The restaurant is located next to the small harbor of the coastal resort Hooksiel, providing real vacation vibes.
Also the interior knows to provide the feeling of vacation, tradition and history. It is cozy and there is a lot to see.
The waiters are stylish traditionally dressed, very polite with typical northern attitude and humour.
For dinner we had beef, chicken and fish.
In general they serve traditional German food with a modern touch. The grilled chicken stuffed with prunes came with a curry sauce and bell pepper ginger risotto, providing a nice twist.
The rump steak came classic and well prepared.
The fish variation of the house had a great mixture of plaice fillet, gurnard filet and a tasty catfish roll.
We would always come back for a dinner with nice food and in a great atmosphere.
