When I came back to Nantou, I followed my grandma everywhere. Today I went out to buy food with my grandma. I came to Master Zhou’s Braised Pork Rice in downtown Nantou. As soon as I walked in, I smelled the smell of food. Looking at the menu, my grandma said that he would buy everything. Spare ribs rice, but I think the pork ribs here are really thin. After much thought, I ordered a fried chicken drumstick for 120 yuan. The drumstick was freshly fried and took about 7 minutes to wait.
One bento can hold 4 different side dishes (it seems to be relatively uncommon to have 4 kinds of side dishes in a bento). I took two portions of cabbage, one portion of peas and dried tofu. The cabbage was not too hard when fried. It's delicious. I also think the peas are quite delicious (fried peas with dried pork). There are slices of ginger in the dried tofu. I originally thought it wouldn't be very tasty, but it turned out to be surprisingly good. It has the flavor of star anise and shiitake mushrooms. The taste is quite strong, and the dried tofu absorbs the soup, which is quite delicious~
Coming to the main course, fried chicken legs.
When I got it I wanted to say what is this? Fried chicken legs? Where is the skin (flour)? Grandma said that it was fried without flour, so that’s why it looks like this. I think the chicken leg is quite small... The price is 120 yuan, which I think is a bit expensive, but he fried the skin of the fried chicken very fragrantly. The meat quality is also good~
The disadvantage is that the chicken leg is very small and the overall price is very expensive, but the whole bento is quite delicious.
Off-topic: As soon as we finished shopping, the store owner turned off the lights and pulled down the iron door. Maybe there was a big order, but closing the door directly was too exaggerated. No customers on site would have to do it. 🤣
(There will be no business during the Qingming Festival holiday (maybe other consecutive holidays as well) I hope everyone will not run out of money)
