❤️ Located in the front section of South Airport, this pepper cake shop is the only place in the entire South Airport where you can get pepper cakes (there's another shop a bit further for crab shell cakes). If you want to eat pepper cakes, this is your only choice. The owner makes the pepper cakes fresh, so the ones that come out of the oven are definitely going to be hot. Each article includes actual dining photos, even if it's just a picture of a drink, to prevent some users from pretending to have dined there without food photos. Overall rating: 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑
📍 This is located in the front section of the South Airport Night Market. There are no seats provided in the shop, and no restroom facilities, but you can use the restrooms provided by the loving shops in the night market for free.
🚗 If you're driving, it's recommended to park at the nearby Xin He Courtyard Station (40元/hour), or a bit further at the Ju Guang multi-story parking lot (20元/hour) and the Xin He Elementary School underground parking lot (30元/hour).
🏍️ For motorcycles, it's recommended to park in the motorcycle parking spaces in front of Zhong Yi Elementary School, or in nearby alleys.
💬 The owner and his wife are very friendly. The first thing they say is that the pepper cake is very hot and to be careful of burns. Personally, I find the taste of this pepper cake to be moderate; it's neither too salty nor too spicy, and the size is just right. For a shop that has been open for about two years, this is decent performance, but due to the pandemic, prices have gone up, and you can no longer find the buy five get one free offer or the 45元 pepper cakes.
