Push! TWO TIME COFFEE, which recently opened on Longjiang Street in Zhongshan District, has an excellent Americano made from their special blend of beans, and it's lightly roasted! The fruitiness is incredibly rich upon the first sip, reminiscent of a richly layered hand-brewed coffee. I think the medium cup size of 70 is just perfect! (One colleague even wondered if they use flavored beans.)
This time, the single-origin Americano happens to use Panama Geisha with a distinct floral aroma, also lightly roasted. If you enjoy light roast Americanos, you really should try TWO TIME COFFEE!
If you're passing by or working nearby, you definitely need to check it out!
Additionally, other menu items are quite thoughtfully created, such as:
👉 Cucumber Americano: It tastes somewhat like Sicily, but the aftertaste has a strong cucumber flavor. Note: If left unadjusted, it's still on the sweet side, so I recommend asking the staff to adjust it!
👉 Polish Jasmine Green Milk Tea: It completely lacks the expected jasmine flavor and instead has a uniquely fragrant green tea, reminiscent of Polish Darnings Green Tea, with a slight bergamot aroma. I should mention the staff told me this is made with a little sugar, so I didn't adjust the sweetness, and it turned out to be about the same sweetness as half-sugar drinks from tea shops, which I found too sweet since I usually prefer my milk tea with one part sugar—maybe next time I should specify that I want it adjusted!
👉 Swiss Cocoa Milk Tea: The sweetness level without adjustments isn't overly sweet. What's special is that it uses two different types of tea leaves, rather than being made purely with cocoa powder. If you enjoy hot cocoa, you might want to give this a try!
They also sell bagels and other light snacks, which I plan to try next time! Furthermore, if you're getting something with syrup, their unadjusted options tend to be on the sweeter side, so keep that in mind if you're concerned about sweetness!
