"This restaurant in Central Taiwan specializes in duck served three ways; the must-try is the crispy fried duck!"
This place was recommended by a friend for their crispy fried duck, and I fell in love with it after my first visit.
Although they promote duck served three ways, my friend and I both thought the stir-fried duck bones were just okay.
🔺Environment
It's mainly a takeaway shop, so I won't describe the environment in detail.
🔺Dishes
❣️Crispy Fried Duck Bones (Whole) 💰650
They always slice the meat, so that counts as two ways to enjoy the duck.
The crispy part is incredibly fragrant, and it tastes really crunchy with a strong garlic flavor.
So addictive, I couldn't help but keep grabbing more pieces.
The bones are also fried until very crispy, and you can bite right into them.
❣️Roast Duck
The roast duck comes with pancake wrappers, sweet sauce, green onions, and raw onions (the onions are only included if you order the whole duck).
The pancake wrappers are very fragrant and delicious!! The raw onions are not pungent at all and must be eaten with the roast duck; they add so much to the dish😍.
The roast duck skin is also very fragrant and juicy, and it doesn't have that typical ducky smell. My family said it might be because we chose a smaller duck, which left out that flavor, although the portion is also smaller compared to the previous roast duck shop we used to go to.
🤗Summary
Because parking is difficult and the dishes take time to prepare, it's best to make a reservation in advance.
You can directly order the crispy fried duck bones; my friend and I both think there are places that make even better stir-fried duck bones.
The sliced roast duck (also very delicious) definitely has to be paired with onions and pancake wrappers. 😋
