📍 Located on Ho Wong Road in Kowloon City, Jin Li Lou has three entrances, and there are many seats for dining inside, with restrooms available.
🚗 There are some paid roadside parking spots outside, but I'm not sure if there's a parking lot nearby.

💬 If you've seen the PTU (Police Tactical Unit) movie, you'll definitely recognize this place. This time, I brought some friends for a pilgrimage. The entrance is divided into multiple sections, but only one is for members dining, and since my Hong Kong friend is a member, we used the VIP access (eyes sparkling).

We ordered the satay broth (a must-try here), which is very rich and flavorful. It had large chunks of beef that are not too fatty, allowing the beef flavor to come through.

The fish balls ($38) soaked in the soup for a while, absorbing some satay flavor while maintaining their crispiness.

The fried fish skin ($48) is highly recommended; it's best when dipped until it’s still crispy but cooked through. It pairs perfectly with the satay flavor—absolutely divine!!

What surprised me the most was the American oysters, which I had never seen in Taiwan (I later looked for this type of oyster back in Taiwan to try). They're even bigger than my hand... but they come with a hefty price tag ($208).

Finally, we wrapped up with instant noodles paired with luncheon meat. The ramen soaked up all the satay broth, and combined with thick slices of luncheon meat, it completed a perfect bowl of satay instant noodles.

The staff were friendlier than those outside, and although they offer rolled toilet paper here, I later found that most restaurants in Hong Kong do not provide napkins... so this can be considered a plus.

Dining at Fang Rong Ji while reminiscing about the scenes in the movie “PTU” was quite special.
