This was my second visit to the restaurant, and once again, I was impressed by the wide variety of food offered — from sushi and snacks to desserts and more. The rotary sushi bar is definitely a highlight, providing customers with plenty of choices that constantly rotate in front of you. It’s quite fun to pick and try different items without having to wait!
One of the standout items for me is the karaage — hot, crunchy, and packed with flavor. Teppanyaki too!! This two definitely a must-try. Some of the food items require you to place a prior order, but the good thing is they are served hot and fresh right after, which I really appreciated.
During my first visit, the service was incredibly fast — possibly because we came during a quieter hour. This time around, however, the restaurant was quite full, and the service was noticeably slower. It’s understandable, but something to keep in mind if you're visiting during peak hours.
The space is a bit packed, so it can feel a little cramped, especially when it gets busy. The atmosphere overall is still pleasant though, with a lively and cozy vibe. One small downside is the size of the plates — they’re quite small and not the most convenient for eating multiple items comfortably.
That said, the pricing is reasonable considering the variety and quality of food available. If you enjoy casual Japanese dining with lots of options and don’t mind a bit of a wait during busy times, this place is worth checking out.
My family and I have been frequent visitors to this restaurant, and each time, it never fails to impress. The menu offers a wide selection of local favorites, ranging from flavorful noodle dishes to hearty rice meals and satisfying breakfast sets. Whether you're craving a comforting bowl of noodles or a fulfilling rice platter, there’s something to suit every palate.
During our past visits, we tried their mee, which was well-prepared with a balanced seasoning that brought out the natural flavors of the ingredients. This time, we decided to go for their rice dishes, and once again, we were not disappointed. The rice was well-cooked—fluffy and fragrant—while the char siew was tender, juicy, and generously portioned. The slight caramelization on the edges of the char siew added a delightful sweetness that complemented the savory rice perfectly.
Service-wise, the staff deserves praise for their efficiency. Even during the bustling dinner peak hours, we didn’t have to wait long for our food to be served. The waitstaff were attentive and quick, ensuring that orders were taken promptly and delivered to our table without unnecessary delays.
Another great aspect of this restaurant is its spacious dining area. Unlike many other eateries that often struggle with overcrowding, this place offers ample seating, allowing diners to enjoy their meals comfortably. We appreciated the well-organized layout, which meant that even during peak hours, we didn’t have to queue or feel rushed while dining.
Perhaps the most appealing part of this restaurant is its affordability. Compared to other establishments in the same area, the prices here are incredibly reasonable, making it a fantastic option for families and larger groups looking for a quality meal without breaking the bank. The combination of delicious food, fast service, and budget-friendly pricing makes this restaurant a hidden gem that we will undoubtedly continue to visit.
Highly recommended for those who love good local food at a great price!
Reached on the peak hours of dinner so there's not enough table. Waitress should come and confirm number of diners so no one would missed out. Overall, the boss and waitress provide good service and serves food efficiently. Explanations provided for promotions carried out to the diners.
Air-conditioned environment. Price of food very reasonable with a large portion. The taste is average which is compatible for the price we paid. Free icecream provided after meal for dinner while free drinks provided during lunch. Even have birthday free meal. Lucky draw is available for spending above RM50, which is a quite good tactics.
All seems fine. However for the baked cheese rice is soso, the rice is wet and tasteless although mushroom sauce is added. Can be improved in their flavour
This small eatery offers a truly local dining experience. The environment is simple and unpretentious, catering more to practicality than aesthetics. It’s a spot where locals gather, making it an authentic place to try traditional dishes. The menu is quite limited, focusing entirely on local cuisine. However, the available dishes are well-prepared, flavorful, and served in generous portions. Each meal is satisfying, and the taste reflects a home-cooked quality that many will appreciate. One of the highlights of this eatery is its affordability. The pricing is incredibly reasonable, making it a great option for those looking for a fulfilling meal without spending too much. Unfortunately, the service was a major drawback. The boss was noticeably rude, which dampened the dining experience. While efficiency may not be an issue, the lack of warmth in customer service leaves room for improvement. Despite the unfriendly service, the quality of the food makes up for it. If you can overlook the attitude and focus on the meal, it’s a decent place to enjoy a hearty, local feast at an excellent price.
