The soup base for hot pot is diverse, especially the milk pot which comes with a large pot of broth, keeping the flavor rich. The vegetable platter comes with shrimp, and the portion is adequate. The quality of the meat is average, but the price is reasonable.
The space is comfortable, and the dining environment is pleasant.

This is a well-known hot pot restaurant in Xinzhuang. I had been here before, and today I happened to take my daughter to the stadium to let off some steam. After we finish, the cold weather is perfect for eating hot pot, so we came to eat at Store No. 2.
Since it was a weekday at 5 PM, there weren't many diners in the restaurant yet. The ordering process is similar to many individual hot pot restaurants: first, choose the soup base, side dishes, and vegetable platter, which can be exchanged for meat. Finally, the price varies depending on the main dish chosen. Today, we ordered a seafood and meat combo (sliced beef paired with sea bream) and a basic serving of marbled beef. One soup base was exchanged for a milk hot pot, and they also have a free drink bar. Besides the usual soda machine and plum juice, they surprisingly offer honey water and oolong tea, which is quite special.
It was my first time trying their milk hot pot, and I was pleasantly surprised that, in addition to the cheese slices, they provided a large jug of milk hot pot broth. This way, as the soup level decreases, we can add more to maintain the flavor, which is a big plus! Besides the basic vegetable options, the vegetable platter didn’t have many hot pot ingredients but included a shrimp, and the quantity of vegetables was quite satisfying, which I really liked. As for the quality of the meat, it was average, but considering the price and portion size, it was still okay.
This time, the branch's quality remains impressive, and it’s a hot pot restaurant that makes you want to come back after finishing your meal. 😊
