Today, I decided to reward myself generously by visiting Pintian Ranch and ordered a golden pork chop spicy army pot ($368). This dish already comes with noodles and also includes a bowl of white rice, which is just right for those with a big appetite!

The contents of the pot are quite abundant:
🌭 There’s a small hot dog
🥩 Thick-cut pork chop cut into five pieces
🥬 A big pile of pickled vegetables
🥢 Four pieces of rice cake, two pieces of broccoli, and a mushroom
The spiciness is on the low side, making it mild and gentle overall.

The chawanmushi (Japanese steamed egg custard) is also quite delicious and goes really well with rice! 🤣

However, a warning: soaking the pork chop in the soup will make the outer layer soft, which changes the texture from its original crispy state. If you’re the type who prefers the "freshly fried crispy texture," you might find it better to directly order the original thick-cut pork chop series.

I didn’t have a reservation, but luckily there was a spot available. I noticed that people at the other tables were already munching on shredded cabbage before their main dishes arrived, so I followed suit and found it incredibly tasty and addictive. I couldn't stop eating it! (laughs)

However, the space is a bit cramped, and the gas stove on the table is quite close to the edge, which could be dangerous if you accidentally bump into it. So I was quite careful while eating throughout the meal.
