This is an old eatery located among the local population, seemingly run by an elderly owner, situated at the entrance of an alley. The staff are foreigners, and there wasn't much small talk or introduction. After looking at the menu on the glass door, we ordered verbally and took a seat. The air conditioning inside was on, and the environment was decent. Soon after, the beef soup, dumplings, and wonton noodles we ordered were served at the table. The side dish was priced at 35 NT dollars, and since there weren't many people, we didn’t order anything else. The dumplings were large, priced at 5 NT dollars each, with generous portions – highly recommended! The beef soup cost 70 NT dollars and came with three decent-sized pieces of tender beef that were flavorful without being overcooked. The red-braised broth, paired with pickled vegetables, was incredibly aromatic and performed well! It’s a great choice for those wondering what to eat for dinner and wanting to reminisce about the flavors of alley snacks, offering affordable price snacks.
