The dishes are satisfactory, with a good variety available. While the chicken namban and takoyaki had some minor shortcomings, the basil pesto pasta was enjoyable. Overall, the food is decent but may not meet high expectations.
The restaurant boasts a clean and inviting environment, complemented by a blend of Japanese and Malay elements. It's a pleasant spot for casual dining.
Service is improving as the staff are still learning. While it may not be the most efficient, it is generally acceptable for a new establishment.
A Japanese style restaurant with a bit of malay elements located in Denai Alam. Its one out of 2 japanese shops awailable so far (pending the lakeside mall opening).
Parking is readily awailable. Service is ok, not the best but they are still in the learning stage as the outlet recently opened 2-3 months ago.
Quite a wide variety of choices and a nice clean environment. Food is on the medium side price wise.
Quick disclaimer as i am on a keto diet i am unable to try most of the items.
The food is just alright. Not bad but not amazing. The chicken namban was ok, with nothing special. The chicken pieces were abit big for my liking with the bater ratio being off.
The green tea was diluted with lots of ice but since its refillable i dont mind. The octopus in the takoyaki was small as can be expected given the size.
However, i enjoyed the basil pesto pasta on an earlier visit so i do think there are somethings worth trying.
Overall, a worthy option when not in the mood to travel out for japanese food. Just don't get your hopes up expecting it to taste just like in japan.
