🥢 A delicious and affordable Meinong noodle shop

I’ve been too exhausted from work recently to muster the energy to write a food review.
I almost wanted to give up 🥹

This time, I’m introducing a budget-friendly noodle shop I recently discovered.
It's located in an alley opposite Sanmin Market (also on Sanmin Street).
There are often quite a few people during dinner time.
You might need to circle around or be very lucky to park right in front of the shop.

I visited twice recently and tried different items each time.
The first time, I ordered dumplings, wonton soup, liver soup, and blanched vegetables.
Both the dumplings and wontons were delicious, and the liver soup meat was very fresh.
The blanched vegetables were selected very carefully, the leaves tasted very tender 🥬

The second time, I thought since Meinong noodles are the specialty, I should definitely try them.
So, I ordered stir-fried Meinong noodles, a platter of braised snacks, and blanched vegetables.
The Meinong noodles can be customized without adding chives (which is excellent).
They are stir-fried on high heat, making the noodles springy and the taste just right 🔥
They include eggs, bean sprouts, and a bit of fried shallots.
Paired with sliced pig intestines, braised eggs, kelp, and other braised items,
the meal gives a really nostalgic noodle shop feeling that you can’t help but love 👍🏻

Both dinner experiences overall were very good.
The meals were filling and satisfying.
The shop ladies were also very warm and friendly.
They even have a pet turtle outside, which is pretty cool 🐢
