🔆🔆Old Chengbei Glutinous Rice Cake Dough🔆🔆
Today we are sharing the snacks from Paradise Street,
This glutinous rice cake shop is located in about four or five stalls of the oyster stall.
There is no menu either, so I just ask the boss directly.
🔱Qingtuan ¥3.5 each
Qingtuan is a food eaten during Qingming Festival in mainland China.
Generally, green vegetable juice and tender loofah leaf juice are used to enhance the color. The "green" is cooked and mashed into juice and mixed with glutinous rice flour. Red bean paste, sesame paste, etc. are filled in, and then steamed for about fifteen minutes.
Today I ate green dumplings with red bean paste
Zhengjijiji, the green dough is very dense, the bean paste is also very firm, delicious!
🔱Tangyuan ¥12.5 per bowl
There was a big pot in the middle and I watched the boss cooking it, so I ordered a bowl.
It is very different from Taiwan’s Tangyuan clear soup. This Tangyuan soup is thicker and contains red dates and gouji. It has a unique taste XD
There were five glutinous rice balls in total, and because they were fished out of a large pot, the boss couldn't determine which ones were which.
Finally... four sesame seeds and one peanut, sorry for the peanut party...
