"Siso Kaymak" is one of the must-visit places for many people coming to Jeju Island and is already quite famous in Korea. With its arrival in Jeju Island, it surely attracts many people to pilgrimage there.

However, we were quite lucky to arrive around 2:30 PM on a Wednesday, with no need to queue at all; we went straight in to place our order.

This place is a pure takeout shop, so we took our food to the car to eat. It was a bit inconvenient because the process was somewhat tedious (which I will explain later), so I recommend taking it back to the hotel or to somewhere with tables to eat, as it will be less hectic.

Kaymak is a famous Turkish food that lies between cream and butter and is referred to as "rich cream." I've heard that having a breakfast in Turkey means ordering a serving of rich cream and honey to spread on bread.

"Siso Kaymak" is a store that sells this dish, but it doesn’t sell it as a set. You have to buy each item separately, so if you haven’t done your homework ahead of time, you might be unsure about how to order when you arrive.

We bought Kaymak for ₩13,000, Nature Honey for ₩2,000, and Bread for ₩1,500. The way to eat it is to first add Nature Honey to the Kaymak and then mix it well. After that, spread it on the bread.

The bread is quite small, but it was already delicious on its own. Once I added the honey-mixed rich cream, oh my goodness, I can only say it was amazing! I felt like I was reaching heaven after just one bite— it was really so good!!!!!! I even regretted only buying one piece of bread; I should have bought two for a more satisfying experience!

I initially worried it might be a typical Instagram aesthetic spot, but it was truly delicious. I would rank it among the top three foods I had during my trip to Jeju Island!

Although the entire set cost over 350 NT dollars, which is quite an outrageous price, I personally think its deliciousness is worth it. If I go to Jeju Island again, I will definitely buy it to enjoy it once more!
