🎖️ Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong BBQ 🎖️

This day, I went with colleagues to a highly-rated Korean BBQ restaurant, and I was mentally prepared to indulge myself. As soon as I entered, I could smell the mingling aromas of charcoal and meat, and I was instantly tempted and felt hunger pangs. Then, I had a classmate who firmly believed that Korean BBQ is all about the condiments... I thought, "Not really..."

We ordered the most classic pork belly, and when it arrived at the table, I could see the perfect marbling. The meat slices were covered with a marble-like fat texture, looking like a piece of art about to dance on the grill. After placing the pork belly on the grill, with the sizzling sound rising, the fat gradually melted, releasing a rich aroma that was simply irresistible! Each piece of pork belly was grilled to be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, paired with garlic slices, onions, and Korean dipping sauces, creating a rich, layered taste that shot my happiness levels through the roof. Oh oh oh!

On the side of the grill, there was also a layer of egg mixture and cheese. As the temperature rose, the egg gradually solidified into a golden, tender baked egg. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and I could keep refilling it, so refreshing!

However, just when we were happily eating, suddenly! The restaurant fell into complete darkness. The power went out! All the lights in the restaurant went off, and amid the chaos, I saw the staff immediately pull out flashlights without any change in their expressions and continued grilling meat at our table. Their dedication was truly admirable; they truly deserved to be known as "Shenzhen’s hardworking staff."

Under the dim light of the flashlights, we continued to enjoy this hard-earned delicious meal, as if the taste of the BBQ became even more unique. Although the power outage added some unexpected twists to the dining experience, it also gave me greater respect for the service attitude of this restaurant. With such dedicated staff and delicious Korean BBQ, this is definitely a place worth revisiting!
