While wandering around the city of Kota Kinabalu, I saw that this coffee shop was doing well. It was almost 50 years since it opened in 1978. It happened to be lunch time and I went in to eat.
🍽️Environment
It is an open seating area with a lot of tables and the seats are a bit crowded. It won't feel too hot when the weather is bad today, but it's hard to say normally.
After entering, report the number of people and they will arrange seats. Then you can look at the menu on the wall and order food from the waiter. The food is served very quickly.
🍜Meals
▪️Tom Yum Noodles (Small) $15 MYR
Although there is a layer of something like spicy oil floating on top, it actually tastes slightly spicy and has a good flavor.
The shrimps are cut open to remove the sausages, and the overall taste is a comfortable and delicious Nanyang style.
▪️Seafood Boiled Noodles $16 MYR
The seafood boiled noodles looks much lighter, and tastes the same. The big bone soup base, paired with florets and fresh shrimps makes it easy to eat, but the ingredients are slightly less.
The noodles have no texture and are soft. They can’t be called unpleasant or delicious😅
▪️Honey Lemonade $3 MYR
Because the honey lemonade was served hot, the bitterness of the lemon peel had been released when it was delivered, so it had a bit of a bitter taste. Later, I found that the honey was all at the bottom, and it felt better after stirring evenly.
