AI Spot Summary

The flavor of the chicken soup set meal is harmonious and rich, combining the unique flavor of pickled plum with garlic squid and my mom's homemade scallop chicken soup, which is surprising. The side dishes are refreshing, the soup base is sweet, and although the portions may seem small, they are actually very satisfying.

The interior decoration gives a sense of a Japanese-style café, and the atmosphere of the renovated old house feels warm. Coupled with the window view of the old mountain city, it creates a satisfying and cozy dining experience.

In the small alley of Jinguashi's Qitang, there is a rather hidden chicken soup set meal shop. The storefront is a renovated old house that has the feel of a Japanese café.

The chicken soup set comes with several side dishes and noodles. I really like the dried plum and garlic squid chicken soup. I was a bit worried that the dried plum flavor might be too strong after ordering, but the combination of the ingredients is harmonious and rich, with no one flavor overshadowing another. I haven't seen this combination in other shops; it might just be an exclusive flavor of getting lost.

The scallop chicken soup resembles a radish and corn pork rib soup. The main flavors are the sweetness of the radish and corn, giving it more of a seafood taste due to the dried scallops compared to the ribs. It’s overall lighter and very nice!

The side dishes are refreshing, the noodles are heavily flavored, and the soup base is sweet. The entire set meal achieves a cleverly balanced taste. At first glance, the portion appears small, but the soup is quite substantial, and there is a good amount of meat. My big-eating boyfriend said, "I’m very full."

I visited here a few years ago and have not been able to forget it. Returning after a few years, I still really love it. On a cold day, sitting in the warm shop, looking out at the old mountain town scenery through the window, and hearing the sound of footsteps creaking on the wooden boards, enjoying a steaming bowl of chicken soup is truly very satisfying!

If you ever go to Jinguashi, please consider making this place a part of your itinerary. You won't regret it!
