The stir-fried beef with scallions has a home-cooked taste, but there is a little too little meat, leaving me feeling unsatisfied after eating.
The store provides thoughtful reminders and will inform customers in advance that they can choose not to add alcohol or basil, which is a big plus.
Stir-fried Beef with Scallions (160 NT$) - we ordered one dish, along with two bowls of white rice, and the total came to 180 NT$ for two people.
The restaurant kindly reminded us: if you don’t want to add wine or basil, you should mention it before placing your order. I appreciate this because I don’t really like the taste of wine, so I specifically asked them not to add it.
This stir-fried beef with scallions is quite flavorful; I initially thought it would be just right for the two of us to share with rice. However, when I saw the contents, I felt a bit disappointed— I thought the portion was a bit small, and there wasn’t much meat. After finishing, I still felt a bit empty (I immediately opened a pack of instant food to eat with the rice) 😆.
Perhaps this is the normal pricing for outside food, but considering my personal taste and satiety, I probably won’t order it again next time. However, many people online say that this place’s soup is really good, so if I have the chance to visit again, I might try their soups.
I haven’t used FOODAY in a long time, and as graduation approaches, I want to eat at all the restaurants near my university that I haven’t tried in the past four years!
