[2025 New Year's Eve Dinner]
❗️Reservations for New Year's Eve dinner require a deposit. The recommended reservation time is around the Mid-Autumn Festival of the previous year, and the restaurant's official website will announce when bookings can be made.

❗️We chose the $11,999 (for 10 people) + 10% service charge. (Even though we ordered for 10 people, 12 people still ate well! Another table received a pot of refillable winter melon tea, which was a bit too sweet 🤣)

❗️Another restaurant named Fook Kee Lai is worth noting, as the two locations differ in menu offerings~

🍴Lucky Abalone Seafood Platter
Just your typical appetizer cold platter, I thought the duck meat and mullet roe were quite good.

✨Braised Seafood Assorted
Very delicious! It reminded me of the flavors from eating banquet meals as a child. Shrimp, red meat, mushrooms, and various ingredients mixed together create a rich and bold aroma; I always have to start with two bowls to savor the taste!

🍴XO Sauce Fresh Scallops and Sea Snails
Nothing particularly memorable, a standard dish.

✨Sesame Oil Fresh Mushroom and Big Shrimp
The waiter specifically mentioned that the broth contains alcohol, so please pay attention if you are driving, a child, or pregnant.
Compared to totally drunken shrimp, this dish has a hint of mild sesame oil flavor and fresh mushroom taste, giving the shrimp more layers of flavor. If you can handle stronger alcohol flavor, dipping the shrimp in the shrimp broth or tasting a bit of the broth on its own is quite nice.

✨Mocha Pork Ribs with Squid Cake
These are two separate dishes, one side is mocha pork ribs, and the other is squid cake with dipping sauce.
The mocha pork ribs were the most stunning dish this time! The two surprisingly blended well, with the aroma of coffee, a hint of sweetness from the mocha, combined with the meat, creating a truly fragrant and sweet taste.
The squid cake paired well with the tangy dipping sauce, and of course, it tastes best when eaten hot.

🍴Fresh Tree Mackerel
A fish that must appear at banquets! Overall, the seasoning was okay, and the meat was tender; this dish fulfilled its mission 🤣

🍴Scallop and Sakura Shrimp Rice Cake
The scallop was a bit crushed and didn’t leave much impression; however, the sakura shrimp made a strong appearance, and I believe it was still a tasty rice cake.

✨Brazilian Mushroom Health Chicken
Ending with chicken soup warms the stomach best! Even after a lot of food, I could still find a little space to drink the soup~
You don’t need too many heavy seasonings; the subtle mushroom flavor integrates well into the chicken soup, making it light and fragrant.

🍓Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream + Delicate Handmade Desserts
This is the Häagen-Dazs strawberry ice cream (delicious!) + regular fruit (?)

⏰ The pace of serving was smooth and relatively fast (after all, there's a limited time of one and a half hours, and the next round of guests needs to be seated XD).
But it didn't feel too rushed; we weren't forced to stuff ourselves.
