I've tried many places for sour and spicy noodles, and this one has a truly authentic and delicious flavor. The sweet potato noodles are soft with a bit of chewiness. You can choose the flavor level: sour, spicy, and numbing—small, medium, or large. There are also some toppings you can choose to add or remove, but removing them doesn't make it cheaper. Personally, I like it mildly spicy, very sour, not numbing, and no sour beans. The flavor at this place is not extremely strong, so for those who love sourness, the large sour option is just perfect.

Having tried sour and spicy noodles from other places, I feel this one has fewer toppings. However, it's the cheapest place I've tried at only $90 for a bowl. I opted for takeout to enjoy it at home, but be cautious when pouring the soup to avoid splashing.

There’s another place in front of the convenience store during night market hours that serves sour and spicy noodles, but I find that the soup there tastes more like mala tang. So if you want something more authentic, remember to come to this place.
