The introduction on the internet shows that it's very famous and has a history. During this trip to Vienna, I only tried the Sachertorte from this place, so I can't compare it to others. However, a benefit is that when I came on a Sunday afternoon at 3 PM, there was no need to wait for a table, though there were still many people, at least I didn’t have to wait too long to eat.

I ordered the Sachertorte and an espresso. The top layer of the Sachertorte is quite sweet chocolate, but the cake itself is not overly sweet. There's also whipped cream on the side to enjoy with it, which helps not to feel too overwhelmed by the sweetness. A sip of espresso complements it perfectly, balancing the bitterness and sweetness. Overall, I really liked this combination. However, the cake is not cheap. I noticed there were other types of cakes available that looked delicious.

The dining environment was somewhat crowded; I was on the second floor, and it was louder on the weekend with many people. If you prefer a quiet, relaxed café, this might not be suitable, but it's great if you want to try desserts, especially since you can share different desserts with friends and family.

On the first floor, there are cakes available for takeout, so if you enjoy the Sachertorte from this place, you can take some home.
