First time eating Shizuoka Katsumasa Japanese pork cutlet.
In the past, whenever I passed by Ohashi, there was always a long queue.
This time, I chose to stop and wait in line to give it a try.
While waiting, there were about 7-8 customers in front of me, and I waited around 15-20 minutes for a seat.
The waiting time wasn’t too long.
Currently, you order by scanning a QR code in the restaurant.
You can also add small snacks to your meal.
Once seated, the server brought a pot of hot tea.
This time, I ordered the small portion pork loin cutlet set.
Each set comes with white rice (you can choose between brown rice or regular rice, large bowl or small bowl) and miso soup.
I personally felt the small bowl was a bit small, so if you have someone dining with you, you can order a large and a small bowl and share, which will give you about half a bowl each.
Before the meal, they serve a portion of fresh lettuce and white sesame.
The pork cutlet had a very crispy outer layer and wasn’t greasy at all.
It’s quite different from the pork cutlets at casual dining places!
The meat had a nice chew and wasn’t soft or mushy.
For a small portion pork cutlet set, considering a woman’s appetite, it’s enough to feel full!
If you have a larger appetite, you can also choose to order the large portion pork cutlet!
