Fengren Ice is made up of ice cream, honey flower beans, and sour plum ice, resulting in a unique flavor. The sour plum ice and honey flower beans complement each other well, but the taste of the ice cream is somewhat unexpected. The honey flower beans are slightly less in quantity and have a lower sweetness.
The site is crowded with a lot of people, and you need to wait in line. However, parking is inconvenient, so it is recommended to walk there.
The staff served the dishes quickly, allowing us to enjoy our meal without a long wait. The service efficiency is commendable.
"I heard from a friend that the Yangzhong Fengren Ice is a spot you definitely have to check out after coming to Taichung," by me, who is looking forward to eating Fengren Ice.
#I absolutely love honey beans
#I was startled by the sudden taste halfway through eating

I ordered the signature Yangzhong Fengren Ice, which includes ice cream ×2, honey beans, and sour plum ice. The taste of the sour plum ice is quite prominent, but it's not overwhelming; I personally think it complements the honey beans well. What surprised me more was the ice cream part. The ice cream is at the bottom, and when I suddenly tasted the ice cream halfway through, it really startled me 😂.
I personally feel it's a bit of a pity that the honey beans weren't as sweet as I expected, and there wasn't as much topping as I imagined—mostly just sour plum shaved ice, which lacked flavor towards the end 🫠.
If possible, I would hope for more honey beans 🥲.

It feels quite hard to find parking nearby; walking might be more convenient. Also, there were a lot of people on-site, so there was a bit of a wait (I remember my wait was less than 10 minutes).
