I have been eating this meatball shop since I was a child, and have been eating it for more than 20 years. There must be a reason why it has remained so standing. Not only the old customers who live nearby often come to shop, but also tourists from Qishan Old Street during holidays. A great source of new customers

It opens at 9:30 in the morning. I came here for takeout before 11 o'clock on Sunday morning. Unexpectedly, there were already a lot of people queuing up. Maybe everyone came to buy brunch(?)

It mainly has take-out customers, but the interior space is quite large and tourist-friendly, so you can have a good meal somewhere.

However, there is a shortcoming here that I still have to mention. Although the environment in the internal use area and meal preparation area looks relatively clean, there are a lot of flies flying around all the time, which is quite annoying.

In addition to meatballs, they also sell fried noodles, fried rice noodles, meat dumplings, noodle soup, etc. There are quite a variety of items. If you come to eat with a group, you don’t have to worry about not finding what you want.

Meatballs $35
The meatballs are fried. You can ask the boss to fry them crispier, but you will have to wait a little longer.
After the meatballs are fried, they are topped with soy sauce paste, pink chili sauce, and minced garlic (actually, the chili sauce is not spicy at all, so don’t worry if you don’t eat spicy food). It’s a little salty, but still delicious!
The meatballs look quite crispy before being drizzled with sauce, but after drizzling the sauce, I personally feel that they are no longer crispy. The outer skin is so elastic that it feels like eating jelly.
The filling is small pieces of meat, quite solid, with just the right amount of saltiness, enough flavor, and just a little bit hard.

Meat soup $30
The price is very cheap. The soup is not too salty, but it is not the sweet taste of the south. The overall taste is bland; the meat is average, and there is nothing memorable about it.

Pork blood sausage soup$35
My mother likes to drink this soup, but I only drink the clear soup. It's not bad, but nothing special. I haven't eaten the pig blood and large intestine, so I won't comment much.

Overall, the price is quite affordable and the food tastes average. If you come to Qishan Old Street for a walk, you can come here for a simple lunch, but there is no need to make a special trip.
