The milk foam drinks come in a variety of options. The Bourbon vanilla milk cap green tea paired with brown sugar tapioca is lightly sweetened and slightly chilled, with a balanced overall sweetness. The brown sugar tapioca is soft and chewy without being overly sweet, and the milk foam has a rich aroma.
The store's style is minimalist, using a design of cement gray and black. The space is spacious with good lighting, creating an overall atmosphere that is bright and comfortable.
The staff provides beverage recommendations, is friendly in attitude, and can effectively answer customer questions.
Hsinchu has a local beverage brand with several branches, and this particular one in Hsinchu City feels like a newer store. I personally really like the store's style, which is a simple mix of cement gray and black. It’s quite spacious for a beverage shop and has four window-side seats, with a lot of floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of bright light.
I'm very interested in their milk foam; I heard it’s made with vanilla beans. However, I was also quite tempted to try the peach oolong tea, so I asked the staff if adding milk foam to the peach oolong would taste strange. He said it might be a little odd and suggested sticking to pure tea instead. In the end, I ordered the bourbon vanilla milk foam green tea with brown sugar pearls, lightly sweetened and with less ice. The brown sugar pearls were soft and chewy, not overly sweet, and the milk foam was quite fragrant. Overall, it was a bit less sweet than I had expected because typically, adding toppings and milk foam makes it quite sweet, but this one was fine. However, I feel like I’m indifferent to green tea; I might prefer ordering a red tea base next time (?)
