This café offers a variety of meal options, including fried foods, pizza, and dumplings. The fried dumplings and fries are particularly well-received, with a nice taste and reasonable prices.
The cafe is renovated from an old house, featuring a vintage style with a comfortable and distinctive environment.
The service quality is good, and overall it is quite satisfactory.
On the first day of the Lunar New Year, our family went to Shifen to play. After seeing the waterfall, we casually Googled and found a coffee shop to sit down, rest, and eat something.
This coffee shop is a renovated old house, showcasing many vintage items (like old phones and typewriters) with a stylish touch. In addition to drinks, they also offer some food. Besides the usual cafe fare of fried items and pizza, they surprisingly sell dumplings, fried dumplings, and soft-boiled eggs. Since we hadn't eaten lunch, we ordered French fries 🍟, fried dumplings 🥟, boiled dumplings, two pizzas (the individual size like you'd find at a chain pizza store), and four drinks. I particularly enjoyed the fried dumplings and fries; the dumplings were tasty, and the fries were thick-cut with the skin on, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, filled with mashed potato. That day, I had apple fruit tea, which was quite different from the apple sauce served in many scenic restaurants. It came with an apple tea bag, and you could adjust the sweetness when ordering; I thought the price of 70 NT was quite reasonable. The pizza had a thick crust, which I didn't love as much!
In terms of tourist spot restaurants, it's quite special to find boiled dumplings, and the food was also tasty and reasonably priced, unlike some tourist areas that are overpriced and not good. It's definitely a place I'd recommend to friends 👍👍
