The dishes are outstanding, especially the Sunday red wine dry curry and the fried chicken curry omelet. They are rich in aroma, but the portions are small and the prices are on the higher side.
The shop is tucked away in a small alley, with decor that has a Japanese style. The atmosphere is inviting and suitable for strolling around to explore nearby shops and cafes.
The service is acceptable, but reservations are not available and you need to wait on-site, making it suitable for customers with time to spare.
A Japanese small shop near the school that I've been keeping an eye on for a long time
I never went for it because the prices were a bit high, but this time I decided to treat myself well since I was exhausted after an all-nighter yesterday!
The shop is hidden in a small alley, and it's not easy to find parking; my friend and I walked over.
There are also many other small shops and cafes around to explore!
What I ate:
🌻 Chicken Karaage Curry Omelette $280
As soon as the dish arrived, it had a rich aroma.
The curry was delicious when I took a bite; for those who are afraid of spicy food, you can order it mild. As someone who doesn't eat spicy food at all, I felt it was just right (it didn't really have a spicy impression).
The portion size is just enough to fill someone with a small appetite, but I was surprised that there were only three pieces of chicken karaage (although they were quite large), but really... it was just so little... The chicken tasted average.
Honestly, it was quite delicious, but the price-to-value ratio is really low; if you have a big appetite, you'll end up spending a lot of money in this place...
What my friend ate:
🌻 Sunday Red Wine Dry Curry $300
I took a bite, and it seemed like his dry curry was more like meat sauce; the curry flavor wasn't strong.
It felt like eating meat sauce with rice? The red wine flavor was also not very obvious.
It was said to be similar to Okinawan taco rice.
But the flavor was fragrant enough, and it was still not bad.
For students, the prices at this shop are really... quite expensive... Especially since you don't really get full, so if your budget is tight, you'll need to think carefully...

🥗 Sunday Okinawa Taco Rice 300
Highly recommended! It looks like a salad on the surface, but inside there’s actually meat sauce, white rice, and corn chips, combined with cherry tomatoes, lettuce leaves, cabbage shreds, and olives. When mixed with raw egg yolk, it is super satisfying in one bite. The combination of sour, salty, and spicy flavors is completely not overwhelming, and before you know it, it's all gone...
🥠 Japanese Fried Tofu 120
The fried tofu is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, served hot! It’s delicious and refreshing when dipped in sesame sauce along with bonito flakes!
🍛 Chicken Karaage Curry Omurice 280
🦪 Clam Sake Steamed Udon 360
My companions found the dishes delicious, and the decor and atmosphere were quite nice, with a hint of traditional Japanese house flavor. However, I personally think the prices are a bit high, and the space in the restaurant is not large. The three of us could only squeeze at the bar and couldn’t switch to a table, making it more suitable for 1-2 people dining.
