"Ha's" is a time-honored pastry shop in Shanghai founded in 1936. It started as an Russian food factory, and then gradually integrated with Shanghai's taste to form pastries with Shanghai characteristics.

When U.S. President Richard Nixon visited China in 1972, relevant departments also ordered "Ha's" pastries to entertain foreign guests, which carries the memory of generations of Shanghai people. Nowadays, you can see its branches everywhere in the bustling Shanghai. Before leaving Shanghai, I wanted to buy some snacks to eat back, so I came to this branch in the basement of a department store.

Today I ordered two kinds of snacks: one sweet and one salty:

-Apricot steak (¥65/500g)
The surface layer is made of sugar and almond flakes, which is great because it doesn’t stick to your teeth. The cake underneath is very fragrant and soft, but it doesn’t fall apart when you bite it. It’s cut into just the right size and can be eaten in one or two bites, which is very convenient. , quite delicious and not too sweet, I like it very much.

There are many other flavors, such as pine nuts, peanuts, cashews, walnuts, shredded coconut, etc. There are many variations. You can choose the nuts you like and try them out. Recommend 👍

-Crab flavored egg yolk crispy rice (¥60/500g)
The whole rice cake is covered with egg yolk powder, which has a great visual effect. The egg yolk has a strong aroma, but it tastes lighter than expected. I personally wish it could be a little saltier, otherwise it always feels like it's missing a little bit of flavor. The crispy rice itself is brittle and hard, so it is not suitable for people with bad teeth.

It's a pretty special snack. I would like to buy it for friends to try, but I probably won't repurchase it.

The two snacks I bought this time are generally delicious, but they don't feel particularly amazing, so I'll give you 3 🌟 if you want to buy them and try them out.
