"NEST Restaurant Bar" is a great spot for late-night hangouts, drinking, and taking photos, located in a little alley on Guohua Street. The entrance is in a discreet alley created from an old house renovation. If you don't look closely, you might wonder, "Is this really the place?" specializing in Thai cuisine.

Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by pebble flooring and rattan chairs creating a tropical vacation vibe. The outdoor dining area is great for photos but has no air conditioning. Once inside, the grass mat rooftop sets a cozy atmosphere, complemented by a projection screen and neon light tubes, giving the space a nightclub feel while also being unexpectedly relaxing.

The NEST Restaurant Bar menu includes cocktails, beers, sparkling wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, alongside a variety of dishes such as salads, international cuisine, barbecued foods, fried items, soups, snacks, and chef specials, with a focus on Thai dishes.

The nest team operates five restaurants, including a charcoal grill specialist, De Backyard Thai Restaurant, Restaurant Bar, 38th Izakaya, and De O Bar. It was only when I got a coupon that I realized they were all part of the same group 😂.

Thai Crispy Pork ($180)
Ground pork stir-fried with various flavorful seasonings and topped with cherry tomatoes – a classic Thai dish that is spicy and salty, perfect to eat with rice.

Thai Grilled Squid ($200)
The grilled squid is chewy and delicious, paired with Thai sauce for a refreshing taste.

Moonlight Shrimp Cakes ($300)
These shrimp cakes have a solid texture and a crispy outer layer; not sure if everyone knows this dish was invented by Taiwanese 😂😂.

Floating Ice Cream Cola ($150)

Thoughts: A late-night option with flavorful and savory Thai dishes; however, I personally found the cocktails unimpressive, but the strawberry milkshake was awesome.

If you prioritize food: Thai cuisine, strawberry milkshake.
If you value the environment: Clean and spacious with unique features, cool air conditioning.
If parking is important: Motorcycles can park out front, but parking for cars is limited nearby.
If restroom facilities matter: Separate male and female restrooms, spacious.
If you care about waiting times: Very fast service, almost no waiting.
If service is important: Average.
