Overall Rating: 🌕🌘🌑🌑🌑
A conveyor belt sushi Japanese restaurant located in the food court inside Mid Valley South Key Department Store
In fact, the overall positioning is very unclear.
I kind of want to imitate the sales model of conveyor belt sushi.
But it also provides many a la carte Japanese dishes
What’s even more amazing is the mechanism of using a tablet to order food.
So since the platform rotates like this, it seems to be meaningless.
Because basically I didn’t see anyone using the turntable.
Everyone just uses the tablet to order sushi or other meals.
Although it looks like a Japanese restaurant
But I have to say that the food is quite unpalatable.
It looks like it’s a part of any Japanese cuisine.
But none of them taste good
And the overall store looks dim and old.
There's really no atmosphere to speak of
In addition, the store's service attitude is really poor.
Apart from the fact that sushi is often served to different customers
Also 10 points unfriendly when checking out.
Therefore, the food in this store is not delicious, the service attitude is poor, and the environment is not good.
There is really no need to step in~~

⭐️Food section
Ordered a double eel rice
The eel itself is okay
But the rice is very ordinary
And there are no other condiments
It feels like a piece of white rice with two pieces of eel.
And the asking price isn’t cheap either!
salmon sashimi
The salmon sashimi here is probably the worst I've ever had in a mall food court.
Not sure if it's because it's not fresh or what?
Just the fact that it's so cold when you eat it isn't right.
And the taste is not good either
It feels like second-class goods
👉Chawanmushi
This thing can't be called chawanmushi, right?
More like steamed eggs with a few beans inside
Can this kind of thing be sold for money?
Nigiri sushi
I want to be a conveyor belt sushi restaurant
Then his sushi should be edible, right?
Wrong, dead wrong
This sushi is so fluffy that I don’t know how to eat it.
And the whole shape isn’t quite right either.
It feels like just putting rice, seaweed and some fish or condiments in a pack
Just make it into a piece of sushi and serve it
It's really not possible
⭐️Drinks
Out of curiosity, I ordered miso soup.
It's basically just like adding a few pieces of kelp and boiling it into water.
Just like chawanmushi, this kind of thing can also be sold for money!
⭐️Service
It can be said that this store has no service at all
Just when ordering food, I use a tablet to order food.
The function of the waiter seems to be just to bring the food from the kitchen to your table.
And the attitude is not very positive
Even if you press service, no one will pay attention to you
Also, during my meal
I saw the waiter serving sushi to the wrong customers four or five times.
Even the sushi I got didn’t seem to be what I ordered.
And it wasn't until the customer reported it to the clerk that the clerk lazily went back and replaced the sushi.
And when I'm about to check out
The clerk also helped me check out with a bad face.
And when I asked if I could use Apple Pay
Logically speaking, as long as the card machine has 80% capacity, it will be fine.
But he shook his head and said no to me
You can only take out the physical card to swipe it
And when the bill is settled,
He threw the receipt directly into my hand instead of handing it to me
Such a service attitude is really unacceptable.
⭐️Atmosphere
This store is more fresh and less atmospheric than the ones in Taiwan.
At least the lights are bright and it feels clean and tidy
This one is a bit like a small shop in the corner of a department store
dim lights
There is no sushi on the sushi carousel.
And some places also look dirty and old.
There should be no one coming here for a date.
⭐️Price
I have already thought that this store is so shabby and the food is not delicious.
But I didn’t expect that the price is not cheap either.
If we take the single-plate conveyor belt sushi as an example,
It’s actually not much different than Taiwan.
The average price is probably between NT$30 and NT$60.
But other Japanese food is not cheap
Also because the food is not delicious and the atmosphere is bad
If you need more than a certain amount of expenses
It will make people feel that it is not worth it.
⭐️Location aspect
Basically, it’s like other gourmet restaurants in hypermarkets and department stores.
Of course the location is very good
But when I usually pass by, I find that there is no one there.
After this on-site visit, we probably know why.
⭐️In summary
Don’t think that all the stores in the food courts of department stores are of a certain standard.
I can honestly say that this place doesn’t have it at all.
You can miss it directly if you walk by.
There is no need to waste a dime to eat here!
