It is a well-known breakfast restaurant in Banqiao. A few years ago, it opened a store near Taipei Main Station and Zhongshan Station. It was opened near the Museum of Contemporary Art. The store decoration is very trendy and cute, and it is very popular among young people. I remember when the store first opened, there were super customers on weekend mornings. Many people are queuing up
This time I arrived at early 11 o'clock on a Saturday morning. I was lucky enough to be seated directly without queuing. The queue started outside around 11:30. If you don’t want to wait for a table, you can order food via line first and then pick it up yourself, or order Ubereat directly
We both ordered burgers. When the waiter brought the burgers, he thoughtfully asked if he wanted a burger paper bag so he didn't have to touch it with his hands.
Tender roasted pork and egg burger (set meal) $99
The sauce is a bit like BBQ sauce, which is not something you can find in ordinary breakfast restaurants, but it is delicious. It contains meat, eggs and lettuce, which is a nutritious meal.
However, the pork has some tendons and is not easy to bite, which slightly affects the taste.
Banqiao Croquette Burger $95
It took a while to eat, but the meatloaf was still quite hot when biting into it. It was very juicy and not fried to dryness. The onion was a plus. The taste of the meatloaf was like eating fried meatloaf in Japan. It was good. eat delicious
But the meatloaf was a bit small, and in many bites I only had shredded cabbage, which tasted a bit raw.
Additional set meal $89 (french fries + fried glutinous rice balls, Haochu black tea)
The sauce that comes with the fries is very special, a bit spicy, a bit like fermented bean curd, very appetizing
Add $5 to the Haochu milk tea, which tastes a bit sweet. If you want to drink sugar-free milk tea, you have to choose fresh milk tea to adjust the sweetness.
Overall, the attitude of the staff is very good, and the food is average to above average, but to be honest, the price is a bit expensive, so even if it's close to home, it's not something I would come here for breakfast every week.
