I have eaten here before and thought it was great, so I came back again.
I highly recommend the beef tripe soup; it’s rich in ingredients and includes Thai basil. You can also add more broth, and the soup is sweet. The best part is that you won’t feel thirsty after drinking it, making it perfect for soup lovers, especially enjoying a hot bowl in winter is wonderful. The beef tripe soup comes with fermented tofu and minced ginger sauce for dipping.
This time, I also ordered fermented tofu with cabbage, which has a mild flavor but is well-seasoned and very sweet and tasty. I originally wanted to order water spinach, but unfortunately, it was sold out.
I noticed many people come alone, ordering a fried rice with soup—it’s not too expensive and filling.
It’s located near the Linjiang Night Market on Tonghua Street; if you don’t want to deal with the crowds at the night market, you can give this a try.
