🍜 Experience making handmade soba noodles! A friendly grandma will teach you how to knead and cut the dough, and you'll get to enjoy your freshly made noodles right away!

Nagano is famous for its soba production, and besides enjoying delicious soba noodles here, I also tried making them myself!

Located at an elevation of 1200 meters, this place is certified as a "Shinshu Handmade Soba Shop." You can participate with a reservation for four people in advance, and even elementary school children can experience making soba noodles. (The amount made is enough for four servings, and since the noodles are cooked immediately after being made fresh, it’s fine for fewer people to enjoy them, but the cost will still be based on four servings.)

The grandma who taught us was very kind and never complained about our poor skills. The explanatory texts on the wall also included English, which was very convenient. However, because making food requires maintaining hygiene, we couldn’t take photos with our phones.

Although this place is in the deep mountains, it has great business every time we visit! Once you taste it, you’ll understand the subtle fragrance of the soba combined with the sauce; it’s enjoyable whether served cold or hot! The pickled side dishes are incredibly delicious, and we even ordered an extra large portion 😂

Although our homemade noodles were uneven in thickness, it was a lot of fun. The restaurant's own noodles have a delicate and smooth texture, which I highly recommend! You must also try the soba dorayaki sold in the shop as a souvenir!

昼過ぎの来店なのでめちゃくちゃ混んでいた。そのせいか対応の雑さを感じた。 食べたのはもつ煮込みラーメン。味はチェーン店なので特に変わらず。 店長かわからないけど仕切ってる人は店員さんに怒鳴らないであげて欲しい。店の雰囲気が悪くなるから。

🍜創業124年!跟著車站一路走來的古早味蕎麥烏龍麵店~ 每次到櫻木町站不知道要吃什麼的時候就會到這間川村屋,一開始只是因為站在外面吃很酷,去年2023年日本新聞報導他們沒有人傳承要關店,引起很多人去吃最後一碗。 不過後來第七代傳人的女兒之一又願意接手,這個百年老店才又再次復活! 從1900年創業,一直都是立食麵店,目前在店內有一排小矮桌,但戶外還是擺了幾張桌子可以站著吃。 點餐方式是使用日本麵店常見的售票機,還有英文可以對照菜色是幾號,主要其實就是上面的配料不同,也有照片可以看,建議在外面先決定好再進去操作機器。拿出券和找零之後把券交給櫃檯,並指定要蕎麥還是烏龍麵,再等麵煮好就可以了。 平均菜單都在500日圓以下,招牌是雞肉麵,但這天我選了山菜麵,超級喜歡有點像蕨類的山菜🤗 湯頭是柴魚醬油高湯,就是很傳統的日式風味,簡單樸實的味道百吃不膩,尤其是冬天在戶外喝熱湯超舒服的! 要注意的是店面有兩個出入口、也都有售票機,但是如果在熱門排隊時段的話,要從JR剪票口那個門的方向排隊喔!
