On the second day of my business trip to Hawaii, my colleague couldn't stand it anymore and wanted to eat in a Chinese restaurant, so he came to this Hong Kong-style dim sum restaurant. Since I don’t often eat Hong Kong-style dim sum in Taiwan, I’m not sure if the taste here is authentic. The only thing that is certain is that the food near Chinatown in Hawaii is really of good quality and low price, and the portions are large enough, so you will feel it is a good deal to eat on the table.
The three of us only ordered two main dishes and a few snacks and we were already so full. My favorite part about the fried rice is probably because it tastes very similar to Taiwanese rice, so I feel quite used to it. However, the pork filling in the dim sum has an inexplicable sweetness, and the tail is sour from vinegar. I am not sure whether it is a Hawaiian characteristic. But the overall dining experience is quite good.
Most of the bosses and waiters are from Hong Kong or Guangdong, and they are quite friendly.
