The hidden location of this bar is very special because it is a speakeasy... which piqued my curiosity to find its entrance. You can't tell from the exterior of the restaurant that there is a bar here, but next to the door, you can see a small button. After pressing the button, a whole new world 🌍 opens up!
The staff inside were very warm and helped us arrange our reserved seats. We originally had six people, but added two more at the last minute, which required them to make some adjustments to the seating. Although we waited for almost 20 minutes, the seating we got was very comfortable and suitable for all of us to chat together!
Each of us actually ordered a variety of cocktails, but the one that left a deeper impression on us was the ❤️ sesame old-fashioned. This cocktail has a stronger concentration, so if you don't drink much alcohol, it may take some getting used to. At first, you will taste a hint of sweet fragrance, and after swallowing, the aroma of sesame comes through. The sesame flavor is quite strong, so those who love sesame should really enjoy it, but just a reminder that it's an old-fashioned, so the alcohol 🍷 presence is definitely more pronounced!
❤️ Fried chicken: I actually didn't expect the fried chicken 🍗 in this bar to be so delicious. The pieces are very large, and the batter is very thin. It reminds me a lot of Japanese karaage. I accidentally ended up eating three pieces and immediately wanted to order another serving. The marinated flavor is also very rich, making it a perfect match with the drinks!
❤️ Truffle fries: These truffle fries 🍟 were a bit underwhelming. While still solid and tasty, I wasn't too fond of the greasy feel of the truffle on the outside. I prefer their use of black truffle instead; the white truffle just felt particularly oily... Plus, since fries are already fried, it made them a bit less palatable. Although they were fragrant, I think everyone should consider this!
Overall, I think it's a pretty interesting bar. If you like bars that aren't too noisy, I would definitely recommend it! Plus, the food here is also quite delicious, making it a great place to hang out with friends for a longer time while having drinks and chatting! It's just a pity that they close a bit early. While they don't rush customers out, it does feel a bit awkward to stay there once they are off duty~ so night owls may want to consider this!
