It is a 2-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station. Outside the first-floor entrance, there are many coin lockers where you can store your luggage. If you plan to dine and leave, you can also take your luggage into the store and leave it there for free.
The cafe adopts an all-you-can-eat format, and you can enjoy a great view of Mount Fuji from the window. The rooftop observation deck is also highly recommended for taking photos! There are many outlets at the tables near the drinks area for charging.
You need to take off your shoes before entering the store and place them in a locker styled like a Japanese bathhouse. The main dishes include Japanese curry (which has a spicy and flavorful taste), the must-try houtou (a type of noodle unique to Kawaguchiko), and adorable rice balls shaped like Mount Fuji.
For desserts, they offer a variety of traditional Japanese sweets from the well-known Yamanashi-based store, Chateraise. This recommendation is worth trying as it's quite affordable! There are also traditional Japanese cookies available (mostly small items around 10 yen each, which isn't very cost-effective 😂).
Next to the cafe, there are many souvenirs you can buy; the jewelry is similar to what is sold in the station. You can check out here to avoid long lines at the station. It’s recommended to visit if you have time while waiting for your train and don’t know where else to go!
