I fell in love with this newly discovered treasure hot pot restaurant as soon as I dined with my family. It’s not an exaggeration to call it the strongest spicy hot pot in Wenshan District; its spiciness is really fragrant. The meat cooked in the pot is filled with the aroma of spices, and there's no need to dip it in any additional sauces. It tastes great just with plain white rice.
The ordering process involves selecting a broth first and then choosing the ingredients. The broth is priced at 100 NTD per person. For two diners, whether you choose one type or two types of broth, it's still 200 NTD. We chose the signature “spicy hot pot with more chili” and “rich milk pot.” Eating spicy while cooling down with something mild is pretty clever, right? 😁
Meat and vegetables are ordered separately, and the prices are a bit high; we couldn't order too many dishes for two people. Later, we found that the two-person special meal for 999 NTD is much better value, which includes:
- Plum pork *1
- Selected beef brisket *1
- Today's assorted vegetable platter *1
- Assorted dumpling platter *1
- Fried dough sticks *1
- Tofu skin rolls *1
- White rice *2
- Dessert *2
We were super full after the meal. Dividing the broth cost, it came to 550 NTD per person, which is acceptable. The vegetables were very fresh, and the portion of meat was large with beautiful marbling. The set also includes fried dough sticks, a great companion for spicy hot pot, so there's no need to order them separately. I personally think it’s a fantastic deal. The milk pot even comes with a slice of cheese; you can enjoy it plain first and then add the cheese for a richer flavor. Cooking vegetables in it will soak them in a wonderful creamy taste, and it is really delicious! 🥺 After the meal, having a mochi ice cream feels truly satisfying!
The restaurant environment is clean, and the staff took great care in explaining things to us as first-time diners. The service is excellent, and my overall dining experience was very satisfying. I will definitely return, and I would even want to bring friends here to eat. I highly recommend it to everyone!
