"Fukuoka Tenjin Yatai Fried Noodle Bread" is located near Taipei Main Station, just a 5-minute walk from exit M6, in a very hidden alley on Nanyang Street. As soon as you walk in front of this store, you instantly feel like you've arrived in Japan, with the shop design and menu resembling those found in Japan.

This store is strictly take-out, with no dine-in seating. The ordering method is somewhat similar to Ichiran: you fill out the order form first, then press the service bell. The bamboo curtain on the left lifts, and a staff member will take your order and payment, giving you a pick-up device. When it vibrates, you can go to the right bamboo curtain to collect your food.

I arrived around 5:30 PM on a weekday, and it was doing pretty well, with many students coming in to place orders. I waited about 5-10 minutes to get my food.

Note: This store will stop operations on September 15, 2025!!!!!!!!!!!

Sauce Fried Noodles (Large) $80
Topped with mayonnaise, seaweed powder, and pickled ginger, which you can choose to omit. This bowl was bought for my family; I didn't eat it, so I can't evaluate it. It looks like it has some cabbage and just the noodles, without other meat slices.

Kimchi Fried Noodles (Large) $90
Sprinkled with seaweed powder, which you can also choose to omit. There’s quite a bit of kimchi, and I feel it’s fairly standard—not bad, but not amazing either.

The noodles here are on the hard side, and the sauce is quite dry, so I recommend eating them soon after buying; otherwise, it will be hard to mix. The large portion is quite big—normal eaters can just order a small size~

Set B $55
Includes a small side dish and a can of strawberry milk. I chose edamame as my side, served with the pods; they taste like plain edamame, so it’s just a protein boost—optional. The strawberry milk seemed pretty ordinary, with a somewhat artificial color, tasting like the flavored milk you’d find at a breakfast shop, so it’s not particularly necessary to order.

Tamagoyaki $40
Comes with 3 small pieces and has a lighter taste, mainly flavoring from the broth. It seems to be pre-made and frozen (as it comes vacuum packed); it tastes okay, also optional to order.
